Team AAYGC Supports the 2018 Race Against Violence
Asian American Youth Giving Circle, AAYGC, a group of young people, commits to serve youth community in Houston. Last year, we toured the facilities at Houston Area Women's Center, donated TV, video games, and books to their teens' room. This year, we are going to do more for this wonderful organization!
The Houston Area Women’s Center helps individuals and families affected by domestic violence in their efforts to move their lives forward. Funds raised through the Race Against Violence support the Center’s 24-hour hotlines, offering a lifeline to those suffering from abuse. They also fund individual and group counseling sessions that help survivors and their children move their lives forward. They ensure that women and children escaping violent homes have a safe place to sleep, and so much more.
